They ain't getting a dime of my money for costumes 'till they make it fun for me to continue playing GW!
'till then I'll be happily playing away other games. I've spent too much time with GW being all frustrated over the delay to an update to just one class (considering how many more classes are still meh to play) and I don't need new content if the game just isn't fun to play anymore. I just can't bring myself to come back and force myself to enjoy content. D'oh.
Even though I just ranted, I still hope all the players enjoy the new content. New content is new content and hopefully the players will have a good time with it.

Website update is up now: http://www.guildwars.com/events/ingame/wintersday2010/
Also: Nobody cares if you don't buy the costumes. People who want to buy them do and the people do not want to buy them don't. Right now, I am not planning on buying a sandwich until my body works on making me hungry again. The world keeps turning.

It's an "Elusive Black Moa", and it's only there for the duration of the quest.
But note that, contrary to previous content for War in Kryta/Hearts of the North, you now also need Factions and Nightfall to be able to do this quest.

So there's a Priest of Balthazar and a Priestess of Melandru in Kamadan and they confirm it's Dwayna+Melandru vs Grenth+Balthazar.
They also give quests which take place in the God Realms but I haven't been in to see what they are.
EDIT: They aren't in the God Realms, just accessed through the keepers.

I did the wedding without the catering ... does it change anything ?
I'm kinda disappointed by the ending now, was expecting something to happen.

Snowball DotA.
Best idea since the Battle for Lion's Arch! Although a bit easy with a 8 Ranger party, I guess.

They look pretty cool, imo. Not an "omg must buy" like the Halloween ones were for me, but still good. I'm gonna look for more pics before I make my decision.
I also completely forgot about Wintersday. Looking forward to snowballin' it up

If these costumes are any good, I might buy them. The halloween ones were 'ok', but too bulky for me.

The Melandru costume looks lovely, but the Balthazar one looks terrible....lots of white pixels showing around the edges.

I like the balthazar bottom with the melandru hat....looks pretty cool (female...my men are still upset about the lack of 3 tuxedos).

For everyone hating on Kormir here..... I like her lol she never caused me any problems!
As far as the body blocking goes, she's blind! Give her a break lol, Or would you prefer to have Abbadon back trying to kill you all the time? xD
As far as the costumes go.... They are both a bit bulky for my liking but they might go nice mixed with the other costumes since I have bought all the costumes

Imagine the good we could do if the player became the god of truth instead of her.
Then again, the human gods do absolutely nothing (unless you pay them... and even then they give you very little) so following that trend Kormir was an ideal candidate to become the 6th doer of nothing.

I lol'd. I'd rather sticky tape the head of a dead moa bird back onto it's body and sell it to her as the rare silent moa.
Personally I love the concept art of the new costumes... I will have to wait until I buy them later on to make a full decision but it doesn't look like it transferred as well into the game.
If nothing else I am ecstatic these costumes at least look like armour as well as them fitting into the game world with character (and thus I can wear them in game as I do stuff, ranger in melandru's and paragon in balthazar's - yay pants!). A big improvement on the halloween ones.
